Introducing the DataSquad International network

  • network
  • announcement

DataSquad started at UCLA and Carleton as a simple idea: pay undergraduates to do real data work, and pair them with the researchers who need it. That model has spread, and DataSquad International is where the institutions running it can find each other, share what works, and show off what their students build.

This blog is part of that. Every member squad keeps its own site and its own voice. What we do here is gather the highlights into one feed, so a researcher at one campus can see what students at another shipped last week, and a prospective adopter can read the whole network’s story in one place.

If your institution runs a student data-services program and wants in, the Join page has the details.
